The idea for this Pod cam from a popular camper trailer the TVAN, These camper trailers are a great example of fitting all of the conforts into a very compact mobile unit. The design is for a split level design with the bed and robe 600mm above the couch and lounge area, which looks out across the Landscape. Minimal Glass to the West and opening windows/louvers to the East.
The last picture in particular gave me the idea of the bed higher with a lounge at the lower level.

For the sleeping Pods I wanted them to feel modern but have characteristics that you would expect from a hut, the following images where a guide for the front and rear overhanging decks.
